Grief is love with nowhere to land. This meditation makes room for that love, and for you.
Find a place where you feel safe. Lie down, or sit — whichever your body asks for today. Let your hands rest somewhere gentle, maybe over your heart.
Breathe in slowly. Breathe out slowly. There is no right way to grieve, and there is no wrong way to feel right now. Every wave that comes is proof of how deeply you loved.
As you breathe, allow whatever is present. The ache. The numbness. The memories. The silence. You do not have to push anything away, and you do not have to hold onto anything either.
If tears come, let them. If they don’t, that’s okay too. Your body knows the pace of your healing.
Rest here as long as you need. You are not alone in this. You are held — by breath, by memory, by the love that will always be yours.
